What Should I Expect on my First Visit?
Paperwork and Consultation
This is to help the doctor understand your health history. Click on the "New Patient Forms" tab above and choose your doctor to view and print our new patient paperwork. You can also call and request new patient paperwork if you would like the forms mailed or faxed to you.
Exam
Your examination will include a spinal alignment and mobility check, and orthopedic and neurologic tests.
X-rays
X-rays provide valuable information about the internal structures of the body. Only necessary X-rays are performed and special care is taken to decrease the exposure. If you’ve had previous X-rays in the last 12 months, additional films may not be required.
Consultation
You will have private consultation to discuss results in which the doctor will discuss with you the findings of your visit and recommended treatment options.
Treatment
Most patients will receive a treatment on the first visit. However, there are some limited cases where it is best that treatment not begin immediately.
